Curing Winter Blues at Mount Eliza's Beauty Emporium

July 16, 2017

I don't know about anyone else, but the motions of life seem to be absolutely hectic for me lately! Partnered with the cold weather, it is very easy to fall into the effortless trap of placing myself on the couch, putting on the TV and devouring a whole Margherita pizza to myself- what can I say... I like pizza. While the thought is tempting, these kind of treats don't make for a healthy lifestyle. Instead of rewarding myself for getting through the working week with comfort food, I decided to instead visit the lovely ladies at The Beauty Emporium in Mount Eliza. It's the best decision I have made all winter.

In between yet another busy day of appointments for Peninsula Estate Agents, I dropped in to this Mount Eliza beauty salon on my lunch break for some much needed pamper time. The Beauty Emporium is a positive space and I felt right at home. Natural light floods the upstairs salon, it smells great and you're greeted with smiling faces from the gorgeous beauty therapists that make up the team at this local business.

Would you believe me if I told you I have NEVER had a facial? This was the case before I visited the Beauty Emporium, and I can whole heartedly tell you I will now be making facials an important part of my beauty regime. My experience has converted me. It's done.

I had the pomegranate enzyme peel and the firming alginate mask, as well as a neck and shoulder massage- it was just heavenly. The pomegranate enzyme peel felt great, as it was applied I could feel it working its magic with every little tingle on my skin. It is deemed an 'entry level' peel, which I wanted as I have quite sensitive skin. I had no side effects at all and was left with glowing skin. I highly recommend this peel, as it eliminates any dry skin, which is an unfortunate side effect of our cold winters. The alginate firming mask also felt great, and was super hydrating. The appointment also encompassed an extremely relaxing neck and shoulder massage, and coming from someone who hates being touched, I can confidently let you know that it was absolutely amazing- exactly what I needed among the end of financial year madness at work.

Other treatments offered by the Beauty Emporium include:
- Eyebrow tints and shaping
- Lash lift
- Hands and Feet treatments, including nails
- Spray tans
- Waxing
- Laser Treatment
- Makeup
- Derma Plane Exfoliation
- Microdermabrasion

The Beauty Emporium offer treatments for people of all ages and genders, each treatment carefully created to address different skin types and problems. Not only is every beauty treatment addressed, spa party's are also available to celebrate your special day. They include DIY facials, foot soak and massage, the option to make your own scrub, as well as food, music and a photo booth to capture your birthday celebrations. If you are also after a consultation on your skin, or even makeup, the educated and experienced therapists await to assist you.

So, as you can see, whether it be for yourself, or a lovely purchase for someone close to you, The Beauty Emporium provides a unique experience that will no doubt have you returning for more treatments. I can't wait to visit again and try the Mirco Plus facial, which provides immediate results for ageing skin, lines and wrinkles, open pores, blackheads, pigmentation, blemishes and scarring.
